A living document per project that loads automatically every time an AI agent connects via MCP. Write your architecture rules, "never do this" constraints, test conventions, and API gotchas once — they're enforced on every future session without you having to re-explain them.
MCP-native, not a bolt-on
fanTask exposes your tasks, history, and context as native MCP tools — not a plugin, not a webhook. Your AI agent calls get_project_context() and search_tasks() directly. Setup takes about two minutes.
Pricing FAQ
What counts as a "project"?
A project is one task board, with its own AI Context field and its own MCP access. On the Free plan you get one project at full capability — no feature gates, just scoped to one. Pro removes the project cap entirely.
Why does the Free plan limit projects and members instead of features?
Because the whole point of fanTask is the persistent AI Context and searchable task history — crippling those on Free would mean you never actually get to try the thing you're here for. So Free gets everything, just scoped to one project with a few collaborators and a 100-task cap, rather than a watered-down version of the product.
What happens to my data if I downgrade or cancel?
Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation so you can export or migrate. Task history beyond the plan's retention depth becomes read-only but is not deleted immediately — you can reactivate and regain full access anytime within the grace period.
Can I start free and upgrade later?
Yes. The Free plan has no trial clock — it's free indefinitely. Upgrade to Pro whenever you need more than one project, more collaborators, or full task history search. Early adopters who join at launch pricing lock in that rate for the lifetime of their subscription.
What does "task history search" mean?
How far back your team (and your AI agents, over MCP) can search completed tasks and their audit trail. On Free, anything completed more than 30 days ago drops out of search — it's not deleted, just hidden until you upgrade. Pro has no limit.
Is there a team or enterprise plan above Pro?
Not yet — we'd rather ship real features (SSO, admin roles, audit exports) before charging extra for them than sell a tier that doesn't exist. If you need something specific for a larger organization, email hello@fantask.ro and we'll figure it out directly.
Is the pricing in EUR?
Yes, all prices are in euros (EUR). Invoices are issued by fanTask (operated out of Romania, EU). VAT may apply depending on your country and business status.
